So I'm sure most of you have realized that I've become obsessed with scrapblog! Its true. I just think its so much fun. Anyways, a lot has happened this Christmas break and I finally have the time to sit down and write about it all. For Christmas eve, me and Todd spend it over at his parents house. It was my first time spending Christmas eve with his family, and it was really fun to do something new. My favorite part was when the little kids dressed up and did the nativity. It was the cutest thing ever! And being that Todd is the "baby" of his family, we made him be the angel. Lol.
Then for the rest of the night we sang some Christmas carols, hung out, and opened a few gifts. We got an awesome game from Lindsey and Shafer, followed by some great movies and a golf bag from Todd's parents. Our nephew Andrew entertained us with some Christmas songs he learned in school! It was definetly one of the high lights of the night. :)
And then for MY family's tradition, we always open a pair of pajama's on Christmas Eve so we can sleep in them. So Todd got me some cute pink Pj's while i got him some BYU basketball shorts.
I posted this picture of my family because #1: We hardly ever have EVERYONE together and #2: We spend Christmas day with them and for some reason, I didn't take any pictures! :( But it was a lot of fun to wake up at my house on Christmas morning. My parents definitely spoiled us good. (But not as bad as they spoiled my cute nephew Ashton! ;) Ha ha. We got a few cloths, some gift cards, and every day needs. Thanks Mom and Dad!
The next thing that went down was my cousins surprise bridal shower! It was the day after Christmas, and it was so funny to see the look on her face when she walked in. She had no idea! I love that girl. I'm sad she had to leave so soon, but she is due in May, and is having a girl!!! I'm soooo excited for her.
Here's just a picture of my cousin Amanda and her husband Shaun and us right before they left to go back to Minnesota! :( I'll miss you Panda!!!
And last but not least, we had a wedding on the 27th. My cousin Hiedi got married and we were fortune enough to make her center pieces. I know I'm a nerd for posting this, but I was pretty happy with how they turned out. They didn't have a high budget, especially around Christmas time, so me and my mom were happy to help them out.
So yeah... that's pretty much what has been going on with us lately. Its been pretty crazy, but a lot of fun at the same time. We are sad to see Christmas come and go so fast, but are glad we were able to spend it with the people we love. :)
See ya!!!
